Hello all!
Not much out of the ordinary happened, so I will post pictures of some of my daily drive! As well as an interesting calendar I have come across.
Also, my other shirt got the sleeves put on today! Success!
But anyway, without further ado, my drive to my internship. Here is the car we drive in everyday and our wonderful driver from Malaysia
Here is a bus. Right in front of us. Don't worry we dodged it.
Not much else to provide today, besides this Tamil/Western calendar Dr. Ravi has in his office
I find it interesting that it is vertical, and in the corner (I'm not sure if you can see) the Tamil calendar is also shown - which is apparently on a different schedule than the Western calendar. Apparently people from the rural villages abide by it, and so Dr. Ravi has this handy dandy calendar to relate.
Oh! And finally, to end this riveting blog post, at an Indian ATM, they don't ask for your pin code, they ask for your secret number. I would feel so much cooler at the ATM if they asked me that back in the states.
Well, thats all folks! more tomorrow!

Here is a picture of one of the back alleys we take.
Here is an example of some of the larger buildings we see on the way
Here is an example of some of the many colors the buildings are, along with lots of new construction
As you can see, few trees, but the color of the buildings and the people that walk the streets provide all the color. I will try to take a picture of one of the more crowded streets tomorrow and post.
